Blogging techniques to make money part 1 is the first of a 10 part series that I am going to write about over the coming weeks. What blogging techniques do you use? I use quite a few blogging techniques and im always changing and testing them. It is important no matter what techniques you use on your blog that you test them and change them and re test them to get the best possible format for your blog. Blogging technique number 1 is the insertion of ads to your blog. Where do you put them? How many do you have? can you ever have too many ads? What you need to do is first work out what sort of ads you want to put onto your blog. Then you need to workout where they can go, will they clutter up your page? It is important to have a clutter free blog. You need to make your site appealing to your readers for them to return to your site and you need to give your readers the information they are after. Whether it be information on how to make money online or how to blog. If you find you have a lot of ads you want to install on your blog then consider using an ad rotator if you use wordpress there is an excellent plugin that is easy to use. You can pre load say you have 5 banner ads and you don't know how to get them onto your blog you can use this plugin to rotate your banners so in effect make you money from 5 different sources. You can also use this ads rotator for any other sized ads. In effect having the look of your site changing continually. Always test your ad placements on your blog until you get the desired results you are looking for. Test where to place your adsense ads. If you use the adsense deluxe plugin then place a 300 x 250 in the post content as this seems to be one of the most successful positions. try it and see if it is for you too.
