I decided to write this post because too many of you are getting caught up in internet business scams.

Internet business scams are rife on the internet today. Many people will try and get money out of you and you will find what they are selling is a load of rubbish or you have been had.

There are certain things you can do to ensure you do not get caught up in an internet business scam. These are:

Thoroughly check out the internet business first.

If this was an offline opportunity you would make sure you fully checked out the business you were buying into. Just because this is an online internet business does not mean you do not have to fully investigate the opportunity. How Do I do this?

Google Search for reviews on the program

Google search the persons name who is selling you this program

Go to forums and asks questions about this business

Contact others who are also selling this program or business for information

Read between the lines

If you do the above you will get an accurate representation of what the internet business is all about.

Email and ask questions of the person whose name is advertising the business to see if you get a response.

An example of this is where you have affiliates promoting business opportunities. Stone Evans and the plug in profit site is a good example. There are over 15000 affiliates to this program all promoting the same online business, you do not know who you will be placed under. You can check out the program in forums and even contact Stone Evans himself. He is a real person and it is a real business called the Plug-In Profit Site. If you do a search you will find thousands or reviews and information on him. However the opportunity you are currently looking at may not have any information on it yet if it is too new. In this case you would investigate the people promoting the business.

There is no such thing as a get rich quick scheme

Anyone who is trying to sell you a get rich quick scheme is scamming you there is no such thing as a get rich quick scheme or else everyone would be doing it wouldn’t they?

Be very wary of plans where you only need to work a few minutes a day. These will either cost you a lot of money to outsource duties or you will have to spend a lot of time doing the jobs to keep the costs down.

There is no real way to avoid getting scammed!

There really is no real way to avoid getting scammed but if you at least follow these points you will minimize the risk of being scammed. Just as in the offline world the online world is full of people who want to rip you off. You just need to be careful and follow your instincts. Instincts are usually right you just need to listen to them.
