To start an online business you will need to search out a host to host your website I use host4profit and the reason i use them is because you can get your hosting free once you have recommended 3 people and they stay using host4profit now how easy is that. They also have a great back office area and everything you would need to be a successful online entrepreneur. They have shopping carts, credit card accepting for payment options, secure server etc.

Once you have your host you will then need to work out what type of website you want do you want it to be a blog type which the search engines love or a static type site. The advantages of a blogging style website is that your front page is ever changing and you can easily promote new products and services. There are some great free templates for wordpress style blogs. Once you follow the instructions your site is up and running.

Then you will need to know how to SEO your site so that it gets picked up by the search engines.
