Is SEO Important at all?

SEO is extremely important if you want to get a large amount of website visitors. SEO otherwise known as Search Engine Optimization is exactly that optimizing your website so that you appear on the first page of the search engines. If you appear on page 1 of the search engines then you are more likely to get traffic from people who are searching for your keyword. If you do a search on google for your keyword you will probably find millions of competitors. This is why it is important to SEO your site. You need to ensure that you are within the first few pages of the searched phrase or otherwise you probably wont get any traffic from the search engines. I get over 200,000 hits a month and that is without any paid advertising. Without SEO  I would not get the traffic to my site that I get and I most certainly would not be that far ahead of my competition on google if I didnt. If you are serious about getting website traffic and making money online then you do need to start to SEO your website. You need to choose the keywords of your site and start to optimize for those keywords or phrases. (More on this in another post) I believe in optimizing your website but I also believe that you need to do more than just optimize your website to achieve page 1 of google.
