I found this cool little plugin to make your comments follow, what does this mean? well wordpress now have the nofollow rule and therefore your comments don’t actually give you any links to other sites. The reason wordpress have done this is because of all the spam comments. But you can still use the NoFollow Free Wordpress Plugin and use it in conjunction with other plugins such as akismet.

Many people are in two minds about whether or not to follow on the comments on their blog or to have the nofollow rule. I believe you need this plugin. Why do I believe this to be true is because I upgraded my wordpress blog to 2.5 then 2.5.1 but I didn’t realize the comments were set to no follow and I dropped from a Google Page Rank of 3 to 1. It just so happened I picked to do my changes right in the middle of the PR update GRRRRRR!
